Here are some simple stretches you can do right at your office desk to keep your body feeling limber and energized:

1. Neck Rolls

Start by sitting up straight in your chair. Slowly lower your right ear towards your right shoulder, then roll your chin down towards your chest, and finally bring your left ear towards your left shoulder. Repeat this gentle circular motion 5-10 times to release tension in your neck and shoulders.

2. Shoulder Stretch

Interlace your fingers and stretch your arms out in front of you with your palms facing away. Round your back slightly and feel the stretch in your upper back and shoulders. Hold for 15-20 seconds while taking deep breaths.

3. Seated Spinal Twist

Sit sideways in your chair with your feet flat on the floor. Place your right hand on the back of the chair and your left hand on your right knee. Gently twist to the right, looking over your shoulder. Hold for 20-30 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

4. Wrist and Forearm Stretch

Extend your right arm out with the palm facing down. Use your left hand to gently press the fingers of your right hand towards you to stretch your wrist and forearm. Hold for 15-20 seconds, then switch to the other side.

5. Seated Figure Four Stretch

Cross your right ankle over your left knee, flexing the right foot to protect your knee. Sit up tall and gently lean forward to feel a stretch in your right hip and glute. Hold for 20-30 seconds before switching sides.
